Cambodia Attends First Regional Workshop of ASEAN SDGs Frontrunner Cities Programme in Japan

A group of Cambodian environmental experts attended the First Regional Workshop of ASEAN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Frontrunner Cities Programme in Tokyo, Japan from Sept. 26-28.

The Cambodian delegation was led by Mr. Vann Monyneath, Deputy Secretary General of National Council for Sustainable Development of the Ministry of Environment and Chairperson of the ASEAN Working Group on Environmentally Sustainable Cities.

This event attracted some 70 participants from ASEAN member countries and relevant partner organisations.

According to the Ministry of Environment, the participants discussed good practices, challenges and priority of ASEAN cities; action plan proposals of frontrunner cities programme of each ASEAN member countries; and so on.
