Cambodia Attracts 1.7 Million Foreign Visitors in First Quarter

More than 1.7 million foreign tourists visited Cambodia in the first three months of this year, according to H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism.

The figure represents an increase by nearly 14 percent if compared to the same period last year, he said.

China is the largest tourism market for Cambodia with over 500,000 arrivals to the Kingdom in the first quarter of 2018, up 80 percent, he added.

Last year, Cambodia attracted some 5.6 million foreign tourists, of them there were 1.2 million Chinese visitors.
