Cambodia, Bulgaria Sign Agreement on Tourism Cooperation

Cambodia and Bulgaria have entered a tourism deal in order to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the sector.

The agreement was signed by Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon with his Bulgarian counterpart Ms. Nikolina Angelkova on the sidelines of the 2nd International Congress on World Civilisation and Historical Routes in Bulgaria recently.

The agreement focuses mainly on travels facilitation, flight connection, tourism-related information dissemination, exchanges of information, tourism policy development and exposure visits, human resource development and beyond.

The 2nd International Congress on World Civilisation and Historical Routes taking place on Nov. 15-16 with an aim to promote connection of heritage tourism destinations in five continents: Europe, Asia, America, Africa and Oceania.

During the trip, H.E. Thong Khon and his delegation also met with Mr. Jaime Alberto Cabal Sanclemente, Deputy Secretary General of World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO).
