Cambodia, China Reach Deal on Environment Cooperation

Cambodia and China has signed memorandums of understanding on environment protection cooperation.

The agreements were officially inked here in Phnom Penh yesterday under the presidency of Cambodian Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal and visiting Chinese Deputy Minister of Ecology and Environment H.E. Zhao Yingmin.

The three memorandums of understanding include the establishment of Cambodia-China environment cooperation centre, biodiversity conservation collaboration, and project on waste water filtering.

H.E. Zhao Yingmin has been on an official visit in Cambodia from July 3 to 5.
