Cambodia Encourages Enhanced Bilateral Tourism Cooperation

Royal Government of Cambodia has encouraged the Indonesian counterpart to further expand tourism cooperation.

The intention was made by H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism during his meeting with newly appointed Ambassador of Indonesia to Cambodia H.E. Sudirman Haseng here in Phnom Penh early this week.

The minister underlined the significance of existence of a bilateral tourism memorandum of understanding (MoU) that will grease direct flight between the two ASEAN nations expected by 2019.

He also expressed his support for the consideration to resume Buddhism festival that Cambodia and Indonesia used to celebrate in 2010.
