Cambodia Expecting Three New Airports

Cambodia is expecting three new airports in the near future to further promote air travel as well as the country's tourism industry, according to local media report.

The source quoted the Spokesperson for State Secretariat of Civil Aviation of Cambodia H.E. Sin Chansereyvutha saying so, highlighting that one airport invested by Tianjin Union Development Group is being constructed in Koh Kong province.

Two other airports will exist in Siem Reap and Kandal provinces, he added.

Once done, the airports will contribute significantly to further strengthening Cambodia's economic and attract more tourists to Cambodia.

There are currently three airports operating in Cambodia such as Phnom Penh International Airport, Preah Sihanouk International Airport and Siem Reap International Airport.
