Cambodia Holds a Labour Conference

The Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA) in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training organised here yesterday a labour conference under the theme New Development of Labour-Related Legislations & Obligations in Cambodia: What to Do with the Currents of Cambodia Labour Law.

The event was presided over by H.E. Ith Samheng, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training.

The Royal Government of Cambodia, in cooperation with the International Labour Organisation (ILO), has been elaborating the Decent Work programme for Cambodia-Phase 5 (2019-2023) after successfully carrying out the first four phases, said H.E. Ith Samheng in his opening speech.

H.E. Minister also briefed the participants on the goals and vision of the Industrial Development Policy 2015-2025, National Employment Policy 2015-2025, and National Policy on Technical and Vocational Education and Training 2017-2025.

Participants attending the conference were business owners, CEOs, senior managers and HR heads of companies, SMEs, government agencies, industry leaders and so on.
