Cambodia Hosts a Regional Workshop on Nagoya Protocol

A 4-day Community of Practice Workshop on Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit Sharing was held in Siem Reap cultural province.

Taking place from Oct. 22 to 25, 2018, the workshop was attended by 40 participants from different state agencies, educational institutions, research institutions and private sector.

The workshop is aimed to exchange knowledge, experience and lesson learnt on the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilisation to the Convention on Biological Diversity, as well as to discuss and find solutions to challenges faced by stakeholders.
