Cambodia Receives Almost 4 Million Foreign Tourists in First Eight Months

During the first eight months of 2018, Cambodia received some 3.9 million foreign tourists � an increase of 11.7 percent compared with the same period in 2017.

The figure was shared by an official of the Ministry of Tourism to local media, adding that China was ranked the top country with most visitors to Cambodia which suggested an increase by 72 percent.

Nevertheless, added the tourism official, the number of visitors from the ten countries with most visitors to Cambodia fell slightly.

Cambodia expects to attract about 6.2 million foreign arrivals by the end of this year, 7 million in 2020, 10 million in 2025, and 14 million in 2030.
