Cambodia Sends 38 Athletes to 2018 Asian Para Games

Cambodian athletes have departed for 2018 Asian Para Games to begin this Saturday in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Seeing off the 38 para athletes at Phnom Penh International Airport on Monday, H.E. Sar Sokha � Education, Youth and Sports Secretary of State encouraged the Cambodian players to try their best and bring success to the country.

Though they are with disability, the secretary of state told them, their spirit is not crippled and they are not alone, and representing Cambodia in international platform.

According to Cambodia National Paralympic Committee, Cambodia is sending athletes for various challenges including running, wheelchair racing, swimming, archery, basketball, and table tennis.

As scheduled, the 2018 Asian Para Games will last from Oct. 6 to 13.
