Cambodia, Thailand Meet to Boost Bilateral Tourism Cooperation

Cambodia and Thailand have held the 2nd meeting of Tourism Ministers to boost bilateral tourism cooperation.

Co-chaired by Cambodian Minister of Tourism H.E. Thong Khon and his Thai counterpart H.E. Weerasak Kowsurat, the meeting took place in Cambodia's Kampot province early this week.

The meeting focused mainly on better facilitation of tourism flow between the two neighbours as well as from the third countries.

Improved travel document and visa services, exchange of support information, and capacity building were the areas looked into, and a joint tourism action plan 2019-2021 was developed.

The two sides also touched on direct flight between Cambodia's Preah Sihanouk province and Thailand's southern province.
