Cambodia Wins 7 Medals from 15th International Mathematics and Science Olympiad in China

Cambodia has got in total seven medals � two silver and five bronze � from the 15th International Mathematics and Science Olympiad (IMSO) in China, announced the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in a press release issued this afternoon.

The competition took place in Zhejiang province from Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, 2018 under the theme Smart, Skilled, and Creative, In a Joyful Competition for Excellence.

The seven medalists are from Phnom Penh capital, said the same source, pointing out that for Mathematics, Cambodia won a silver and three bronze medals while for Science, a silver and two bronze medals.

Cambodia has dispatched 24 students and six teachers to compete in the 15th IMSO, an international competition for school students between 11 and 13 years old, said the press release.
