Cambodian Delegation Joins World’s Biggest Platform on Women

Minister of Women's Affairs have led her senior delegation to attend the world's biggest platform to discuss the role of women's in sustainable development and peace.

The update was shared recently on the ministry's official Facebook page stressing that the event was participated by some 2,000 leaders and delegates from 110 countries across the globe.

St. Petersburg city of the Russian Federation hosted the two-day event that allows participating delegates to exchange development experience and insights from the lens of women.

From her end, Cambodian Minister H.E. Ms. Ing Kantha Phavi shared commitments of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the ministry's experience and achievements particularly on engagement of women as well as young people in social and economic development.

Russian President H.E. Vladimir Putin presided over the official opening of the forum wherein H.E. Ms. Ing Kantha Phavi was part of the dignitaries.
