Cambodian Foreign Minister Receives Congratulatory Letters from His Malaysian and Hungarian Counterparts

Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Prak Sokhonn has received congratulatory letters from foreign ministers of Malaysia and Hungary for his reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia.

It gives me great pleasure to convey my sincere congratulations to you on your reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia following the recent 6th General Elections, said H.E. Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.

The Malaysian foreign minister expressed his delight for having very productive discussions with H.E. Prak Sokohnn on the sidelines of the 51st ASEAN Ministerial Meeting in Singapore last August and looked forward to the same in the near future.

H.E. Saifuddin Abdullah also invited the Cambodian foreign minister to Malaysia in 2019 for the 3rd Joint Commission Meeting between the two countries.

For his part, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary H.E. Peter Szijjiarto hoped that H.E. Prak Sokhonn's reappointment, and especially his upcoming visit to Hungary will provide new opportunities to further deepen the political, economic and cultural dialogue between the two nations.
