Cambodian Foreign Minister To Meet Counterparts from Rwanda and Guinea

Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn will hold a bilateral meeting with his counterparts from Rwanda H.E. Mrs. Louise Mushikiwabo, and from Guinea H.E. Mamadi Toure, in Phnom Penh today.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation AKP received this morning, the meeting will focus on strengthening cooperation in the framework of Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) and seeking Cambodia's support to the candidature of H.E. Mrs. Louise Mushikiwabo as Secretary-General of OIF at the elections to be held on Oct. 11-12, 2018 in Armenia.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and East African Community of the Republic of Rwanda H.E. Mrs. Louise Mushikiwabo, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea H.E. Mamadi Toure are visiting the French speaking countries in Indochina, namely Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam, from Aug. 6 to 13 in a bid to the post of the Secretary-General of OIF.
