Cambodian Information Minister Attends 15th AMS-2018 in India

Cambodia's Minister of Information H.E. Khieu Kanharith has been on a visit in India to attend the 15th Asia Media Summit (AMS-2018) taking place in New Delhi from May 10-12.

Themed Telling Our Stories: Asia and More, the three-day event attracted over 200 delegates representing 39 countries from around the world.

This forum is aimed at encouraging regional and bilateral dialogue and cooperation to respond to challenges to the broadcasting sector in the region. It also provides a unique opportunity for broadcasters in the Asian region to share their thoughts on software and hardware aspects of broadcasting, as well as the opportunities for networking, facilities for business to business meetings and prospective translation of these meetings into trade and economic relations after the summit.

The AMS-2018 was organised by the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) and other partners.
