Cambodian MAFF Minister Meets Ambassador of the Philippines

Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Veng Sakhon held talks here yesterday with H.E. Christopher B. Montero, Ambassador of the Philippines to Cambodia.

According to a news release of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), the meeting touched on the strengthening of cooperation in the field of agriculture between the two nations.

Both sides agreed to promote the experience exchange between expert officials through visits, workshops, meetings and training; to study the possibility of increasing agro-trading; and to consider providing scholarships for MA programme in the fields of agronomy, soil science, and fisheries science.

Besides, they discussed the preparations for a technical working group meeting scheduled to be held on June 5-6, 2018 in Siem Reap province.
