Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs To Visit Turkey Next Week

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn will pay an official visit to the Republic of Turkey from Oct. 1-3, 2018, at the invitation of the Government of Turkey.

According to the press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFA-IC), H.E. Prak Sokhonn will hold official talks with H.E. Mevlut Cavusoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, to discuss various issues of common interests and concerns in the context of bilateral, regional and international cooperation as well as efforts to further strengthen political trust and explore new potential to advance mutual benefits of the two countries.

At the conclusion of the talks, the Ministers will witness the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations of the MFA-IC and the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, which is followed by a press conference.

During his stay in Turkey, H.E. Prak Sokhonn will also lay wreath at Anitkabir (Memorial Tomb), and is scheduled to meet the members of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Friendship Group of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
