Cambodian Minister of Mines and Energy Receives New Thai Ambassador

Ambassador of Thailand to Cambodia H.E. Panyarak Poolthup paid a courtesy call on Minister of Mines and Energy H.E. Suy Sem, in Phnom Penh this morning.

According to a news release of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, H.E. Suy Sem briefed his guest on the ministry's background and duties as well as the cooperation between the two countries in the field of mines and energy.

On the occasion, H.E. Minister asked the Thai side to continue providing short- or long-term training courses on geology for Cambodian officials and to speed up the discussion on maritime Overlapping Claims Area between the two countries for their common benefits.

H.E. Panyarak Poolthup thanked H.E. Suy Sem for the warm hospitality and pledged to bring Cambodia's requests to Thai concerned institutions.
