Cambodian PM To Donate Thought-Provoking Books to Public

Cambodian Prime Minister will distribute thousands of thought-provoking books to the public during the national book fair late this week, according to local media report.

The books that Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen planned to donate teach code of conducts safeguarding a wide range of behaviours compiled by prominent Cambodian scholars dated back to nearly 100 years ago.

Circulation of the books will take place at the National Library of Cambodia here in Phnom Penh from Dec. 7 to 9.

As a reader, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen hoped that the circulation of the book will not only promote reading among Cambodians, especially the youth, but also help their critical thinking.

The Cambodia Book Fair 2018 under the theme of Living Books Growing Knowledge will be the seventh of its kind by far.
