Cambodian Rice Planting Device Wins U.S. Award

Agri-Smart � a Cambodian social enterprise � has won the U.S Patent for Humanity award for its Eli Rice Seeder, a rice planting device that reduces costs and promotes yields, according to its Facebook page.

As underlined in the source, delegate of Agri-Smart Cambodia will collect the granted award in November this year.

The recognition of the so-called Eli Rice Seeder represents another pride of Cambodian agricultural technology.

Agri-Smart Cambodia, as explained, belongs to the Brooklyn Bridge to Cambodia (BB2C) � a firm innovating tools to improve agricultural practice as well as livelihoods of Cambodian farmers.
