China Provides Scholarship to 22 Cambodian Students

China has awarded scholarship to 22 Cambodian students to study in Hainan province, the People's Republic of China.

The scholarship provision followed a memorandum of understanding between Hainan Foreign Language College of Professional Education and University of Management and Economics (UME) of Kampong Cham province signed on Aug. 14.

The agreement focuses on boosting education cooperation between the two institutes through exchange programmes such as internships, exposure visits and beyond.

H.E. Muon Veasna, Kampong Cham UME Vice Rector and Advisor to the President of the National Assembly Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin presided over seeing-off ceremony for the scholarship recipients.

The vice rector advised the 22 students to maintain good manner and communication with students at the China's university.
