Coffee Being Grown on 200 Hectares of Land in Mondulkiri

Coffee has been grown on 200 hectares of land surface in Mondulkiri province, according to local media report.

The source cited Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Mr. Sok Kheang sharing the update, adding that each hectare can produce between 2 and 3 tons of coffee.

There are now, he added, three domestic firms collecting and processing the coffee yield in Mondulkiri for local market and export to international markets.

Located in the northeast of Cambodia, Mondulkiri has been known for good coffee production, and the coffee earned international recognition from a competition in England in November 2017.
