CRC President Distributes Relief to 1,442 Flood-affect Families in Thbong Khmum Province

Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), distributed relief to 1,442 flood-affected families from 16 villages of three communes in Thbong Khmum district, Thbong Khmum province this morning.

The relief distribution ceremony was held in Tonle Bith village, Tonle Bith commune, Thbong Khmum district.

On the occasion, Samdech Bun Rany Hun Sen expressed the CRC's attention to assist all victims without discrimination.

Flood, resulted from climate change, is a concern of the Royal Government of Cambodia and CRC, said Samdech Bun Rany Hun Sen, requesting authorities at all levels, CRC's branches and sub-branches to help people in the flood-affected areas on time, both during flash flood and flood retreat.

The CRC president also called on people to take good care of their health like living with sanitation, drinking clean and boiled water and being vigilant to all kinds of venomous animals.
