CVEA Holds Meeting to Address Illegal Corporate Land Sale

Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association (CVEA) has held its first quarter meeting to find solutions for increasing illegal corporate land sale in Cambodia.

In the meeting taking place here in Phnom Penh recently, Oknha Cheng Kheng, Chairman of CVEA Board of Directors, expressed his concerns over unlicensed corporate land sale violating the country's law and degrading confidence on the legal business.

He also urged relevant associations and institutions to join hands to resolve the issues in order to build trust among clients and investors in the sector.

According to CVEA President Dr. Mr. Kim Heang, the association is planning to establish a short training course in mid-June among unlicensed corporate land sale investors so as to promote their compliance with the country's laws and regulations in the business.
