Eight Historical Buildings in Phnom Penh To Be Listed as Heritage Sites

Eight historical and classic sites and buildings in Phnom Penh capital city will be officially registered as heritage sites for further conservation.

They are Wat Phnom, National Museum, Royal University of Fine Arts, Chaktomuk Conference Hall, Royal Palace, Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Royal Railway Station, and Central Market.

An inter-ministerial meeting to discuss the listing of these sites was held here recently under the chairmanship of H.E. So Khan Rithykun, Secretary of State for Environment.

The above-said sites and buildings constitute unique beauty of the capital.
