EuroCham To Host Talk on Cyber Security Next Week

European Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (EuroCham) is going to host a breakfast talk on Cyber Security at Raffle Hotel Le Royal on June 21.

The forthcoming event will touch upon all matters related to cyber security, including infrastructure, network, and information system, said EuroCham in an announcement.

As technology increasingly becomes an integral part of business operations, Cyber security and understanding the technologies, processes and practices aimed at protecting networks, computers, programmes and data, it added.

Mr. Ou Phannarith, Director of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Security of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia, former Head of National Cambodia Computer Emergency Response Team (CamCERT), will be among the speakers. He had been involved in the development of Cybercrime Law, E-Commerce Law, Cambodia ICT Masterplan 2020 and Digital Signature legislation.

Besides, there will be also Mr. Fernando Serto, Head of Security Technology and Strategy at Akamai, and Mr. Pinyo Treepetcharaporn, Director in Risk Advisory practice of Deloitte.

Our panelists will share their insights on existing and upcoming threats but also about efficient countermeasures to protect your assets, including measures that do not require too much change in your environment, pointed out the announcement.
