First Lady Dispatched Relief Assistance to Flood Victims in Kampong Cham

President of the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) has dispatched relief items to flood-affected residents in Kampong Cham province of Cambodia.

Cambodia's First Lady and president of the humanitarian agency, Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen handed the temporary assistance lately in Koh Samrong commune of Kampong Siem district to 1,548 families.

Distributed relief package includes milled rice, other food items, some pocket cash, and sanitation kits.

When addressing the event, Samdech Kittiprittbandit reminded all population affected by on-going floods to take extra attention on their health � ensuring sanitary living, drinking treated water, eating well-cooked food, and being vigilant to all kinds of venomous animals like snakes.

The First Lady also encouraged all concerned authorities at all levels to continue assisting affected people, especially evacuating them to safe areas.
