H.E. Pan Sorasak Speaks Highly on Achievements of National Committee for Intellectual Property Rights

Achievements of the National Committee for Intellectual Property Rights (NCIPR) in 2017 were highly evaluated by Minister of Commerce H.E. Pan Sorasak in a recapitulative meeting of NCIPR held at the ministry office yesterday.

Cambodia's accession to the Geneva Act of Lisbon Agreement on Appellations of Origin and Geographical Indications, related-law elaboration, expansion of protection of geographical indications and trademarks, launch of online trademark registration, crackdown on intellectual property (IP) crimes, etc. are among the major achievements of NCIPR last year highlighted by H.E. Pan Sorasak, also Chairman of NCIPR.

H.E. Minister took the chance to encourage the NCIPR's members to continue fulfilling their duties with responsibility to contribute to building a vigorous IP system.
