International Experts Training Cambodian Peacekeepers

AKP Phnom Penh, Cambodian peacekeepers are being trained under Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) by experienced United Nations and U.S. officials.

Gen. Sem Sovanny, Director General of National Centre for Peacekeeping Forces, Mine and Explosive Remnant of War Clearance (NPMEC), yesterday inspected training at the Training Centre for Multinational Peacekeeping Forces in Phnom Srouch district of Kampong Speu province.

According to the NPMEC director general, the training focuses mainly on various skills, including construction of wooden bridge, topology and staffing.
