Israel To Provide Scholarship to Cambodian Students

Israel has pledged to provide scholarship to 400 Cambodian students majoring in agriculture and assist a children's centre in Siem Reap province.

The commitment was made by H.E. Meir Shlomo, Ambassador of Israel to Cambodia during his recent meeting with Siem Reap provincial Governor H.E. Khim Bunsong in the provincial city.

The Israeli diplomat spoke highly of the province's rapid development, expressing his commitment to establish special friendship tie between the province of Siem Reap and Israel.

He also hoped to contribute to attracting more Israeli investors and visitors to Cambodia, especially Siem Reap.

H.E. Khim Bunsong warmly welcomed H.E. Meir Shlomo's visit and the intention for the formulation of alliance between his province and Israel.

He also briefed the ambassador about the latest developments in Siem Reap, including the security and economy.
