KAMSAB’s Operation To End Later This Month

The operation of Kampuchea Shipping Agency and Brokers (KAMSAB) will come to an end from Feb. 28, 2019 onwards, according to a sub-decree signed recently by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

All KAMSAB's staff will be transferred to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport or Phnom Penh Autonomous Port or Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, it added.

The dissolution of KAMSAB was announced by Samdech Techo Prime Minister Hun Sen on Jan. 25, 2019, at a get-together with workers and employees from 12 factories and farms in Kampot province.

The Premier explained that the dissolution of KAMSAB will contribute to reducing obstacles to investment and trade in Cambodia.
