Minister of Finance Receives Mitsubishi’s Delegation

Minister of Economy and Finance H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth has received a visiting Mitsubishi's delegation led by H.E. Tatsuo Yamazaki, Former Japan's Vice Minister of Finance.

In the meeting taking place here in Phnom Penh early this week, H.E. Tatsuo Yamazaki spoke highly of Cambodia's rapid economic growth in the last two decades.

The Japan's former vice finance minister told H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth that with the impressive economic performance, he was bringing a team of Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer Mitsubishi to seek investment opportunities in the country.

H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth appreciated the investment liaison by former vice finance minister and warmly welcomed Mitsubishi's delegation, stressing that the Royal Government of Cambodia is working hard to promote support policies as well as favourable business environment, especially to attract more foreign investments.

On behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia, H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth was open to sharing related to investment in Cambodia by the visitors.

Taking the opportunity, the minister recalled the endeavour of H.E. Tatsuo Yamazaki when serving as Japan's vice finance minister that contributed significantly to enhancing Cambodia-Japan collaboration.

He also thanked the Government and people of Japan for their continuous assistance in Cambodia's peace building, construction of physical infrastructures, and beyond.
