No Critical Flaw Found for 2018 General Election

There is no critical flaw found during the 29 July general election process, according to National Election Committee (NEC).

The election committee released the conclusion recently following its verification of the election process throughout the 25 capital and provinces of Cambodia.

Lasting from Aug. 4 to 6, said the committee, the validation work broadly engaged representatives from political parties, election observers and journalists.

The five groups tasked for the election verification work have not identified any flaw of the political race process, it underlined.

The committee continued that with the positive validation, preliminary result of the sixth legislature election will be officially announced on Aug. 11.
