Operating Standard for Development Project Impact Settlements

Royal Government of Cambodia is settling down impacts by development projects utilising a clearly defined standard that ensures proper assessment, consultation and fairness.

The message was underlined by Minister of Economy and Finance H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth when chairing a workshop yesterday here in Phnom Penh to disseminate the sub-decree on the operating legal standard for development project impact settlements.

The government, he continued, has clear policies to equitably distribute the benefits of Cambodia's economic growth.

Application of the milestone operating legal standard is also expected to further ensure the effectiveness of public development grant implementation in the country.

Taking the opportunity, H.E. Aun Pornmoniroth urged all concerned stakeholders to make their best for the rollout of the operating legal standard for development project impact settlements.
