Ordered Fire Engines Arrive in Cambodia

Eighty-seven (87) fire trucks bought by the Royal Government of Cambodia from China have arrived in Cambodia, according to the update from the Ministry of Interior.

Ordered since 2016, the purchased fire trucks will be delivered to districts without the facility across Cambodia, said Ministry of Interior's Director of Fire Department Mr. Net Vutha.

Supply of fire engines to sub-national level, including far-flung locations, is the commitment of the government to ensure security risk management, particularly related to fire.

Earlier, Ministry of Interior has sent 99 fire trucks to 24 provincial police commissariats and kept 14 at the Fire Department.
