Over 1.26 Million Tourists Travel to Different Destinations during Pchum Ben Festival

Cambodia attracted more than 1.26 million tourists during the three-day holiday of Pchum Ben Festival or Festival for the Deaths, from Oct. 8 to 10, 2018, up 20.42% compared to the same period last year, the Ministry of Tourism pointed out in a news release this morning.

According to the same source, of the figure, more than 1.21 million were local visitors, an increase by 20.29 percent, and 48,004 were international tourists, up 23.93 percent.

The most visited destinations among tourists included the provinces of Siem Reap, Kampot, Kampong Thom, Mondulkiri, Rattanakiri and Pursat, and Phnom Penh capital city, it added.
