Samdech Hun Sen Meets over 200 Cambodian Students in China

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen held a get-together with 229 Cambodian students pursuing their studies in China yesterday afternoon, during his stay in Nanning city, Guangxi province for the 15th China-ASEAN Expo.

According to his official Facebook page, Samdech Techo Hun Sen told the students of Cambodia's participation in the 15th China-ASEAN Expo as the Country of Honour. He said he had visited Nanning 11 times and recalled the role of Cambodia as Country Coordinator of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations in 2003.

The Premier took the opportunity to encourage the students to study hard and to respect the laws of the hosting country, hoping that Cambodian students will get more scholarships to study in China in the years to come.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also gave each of them US$500 for their necessary expenses during their studies in China.
