Turkey Wants to Form Sister City Alliance with Phnom Penh

Republic of Turkey is willing to establish a sister city alliance between a Turkish city and Phnom Penh capital in order to further promote cooperation between the two countries.

The intention was highlighted by Turkish Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Ms. Ayda Anlu during her recent meeting with H.E. Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh Capital.

The collaboration was seen as another driving force contributing to Cambodia's development � thanks to maintained peace and political stability under the leadership of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

From his side, H.E. Khuong Sreng welcomed the willingness for the sister city alliance formulation.

Boosting good cooperation with other country at city level and beyond is a priority of the Royal Government of Cambodia toward bilateral benefits, added H.E. Governor.
