World Leaders Keep Sending Congratulatory Messages to PM Hun Sen

Leaders of different countries around the world continued extending their sincere congratulations to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen on the landslide victory of his Cambodian People's Party and on his reelection as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

I take this opportunity to congratulate you on the victory of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) in the 6th General Elections of Cambodia. The unequivocal voice of the Cambodian people to re-elect Your Excellency as their leader is a demonstration of the trust and confidence they continue to have in Your Excellency, wrote Dr. Mahathir Bin Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia.

The Malaysian Premier added that he continued to believe that it is now opportune for both Malaysia and Cambodia to further strengthen their ties.

Looking back, we have come a long way in ASEAN together. It is clear that the future of our region depends on our commitment to the principles of Peace, Freedom and Neutrality. I believe that both Malaysia, Cambodia, and all ASEAN Member States will continue to renew our commitments to these principles, he underlined.

For his part, H.E. Andrej Babis, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic said, [] Let me take this opportunity to reiterate how pleased I am by the friendly relations biding our two countries. As Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, I will pay close attention to successful development of our mutual cooperation and strengthening the ties of our peoples.

South Africa values its partnership with Cambodia, and remains committed to continue supporting the process of promoting access to quality education and technical skills for the youth in your beautiful country, stressed H.E. Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa. May I take this opportunity to affirm my appreciation for the friendly relations that exist between our two countries, and wish Your Excellency and your Government success in your pursuit for peace, political stability and national development in Cambodia.

Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr, Prime Minister of the Republic of Yemen, expressed his pleasure to congratulate Samdech Techo Hun Sen on his overwhelming victory in these elections and his assignment from His Majesty the King of Cambodia to form the government. I find this a suitable chance to express to Your Excellency our profound determination to deepen and strengthen the mutual relations between our friendly countries, to the mutual benefit of our peoples, he said.
